

PASTOR
BRAD HOLLIMAN
Rev. Brad Holliman has been a pastor in the United Methodist Church for more than twenty years. He has served churches in both, the Western North Carolina, and the Tennessee-Western Kentucky Annual Conferences. He is passionate about Biblical teaching, as well as practical application of scripture in people’s everyday lives. Pastor Brad believes that churches should be about four primary tasks: • CONNECTING WORSHIP - Worship that connects us to God. • BUILDING LOVING COMMUNITY - We hope everyone knows that they are loved and valued. • TRANSFORMATION BY THE HOLY SPIRIT - We are called to live a changed life in Christ. • WORK TO CHANGE THE WORLD - We desire to help others in the world. Rev. Holliman is a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary (Mdiv) and Pfeiffer University (BA - Religion). He was Ordained as an Elder in the United Methodist Church at United Methodist Lake Junaluska in 2005, and has served multiple churches in North Carolina and Middle Tennessee. During his time as a seminary student at Asbury Theological Seminary he met and married his wife, Rev. Lori Holliman, who is currently serving as an ESL teacher here in Marshall County, while also doing ministry here at Lewisburg 1st UMC. Together they have one daughter, Sarah, who is a recent graduate of Cornersville High School, and is attending college at MTSU. In June of 2021 Pastor Brad was appointed to Lewisburg 1st United Methodist Church. Brad is an avid fan of the University of North Carolina Tar Heels Men’s Basketball team and also enjoys playing guitar, traveling, and spending time with his family.
